It was a long time ago in the spring of 2018. We spent nearly a month in Japan, made a lot of short videos but it took a long time to finally put them together and make a little movie. The hardest part was I think to write a music that fits the scenery and the mood, and that’s where I fail most of the time. Ofthen I use someone else’s song, even though I compose music myself. I’ve got a feeling that this time I got it right. But please leave a comment, let me know what you think.
I’ve learnt a lot about cameras and video making during the years. It made me hesitate that I wasn’t entirely satisfied with quality of the footages. And this is the reason that I still have a lot of my holidays burried on my hard drive and it takes a lot of effort to dig them up and make a movie out of them. With today’s equipement and knowledge I’d do them very differently.
In this video you will see a panoramic view of Mount Fuji, around Hakone, temples and shrines of Kyoto, Nikko, Nara with many friendly deers, Kamakura, Osaka, Himeji, Hiroshima, a little bit of Tokyo, Okinawa, and more deers again from around the country.
Anyway I hope you will enjoy the video and the music. And feel free to comment!

For anyone interested, the camera I used is a Panasonic GX80 with a Panasonic 14-140mm and Olympus 9-18mm lenses. Sometimes I used my Zhyjun Crane M gimbal as well.
I wrote the music in Reaper and used Arturia virtual instruments.
