バシリカ・パッラディアーナは、イタリア北東部ヴェネト州にある都市ヴィチェンツァの街の中心にあるルネサンス様式の建築です。16世紀のルネサンス期に建築家アンドレア・パッラーディオ (Andrea Palladio) が活躍し、古典的な様式の多くの建築で、ヴィチェンツァの街と郊外に美しい景観をもたらしました。パッラーディオの建築群は、「ヴィチェンツァ市街とヴェネト地方のパッラーディオの様式の邸宅群」として、1994年からユネスコの世界遺産に登録されています。
The Basilica Palladiana is a Renaissance-style public building in the heart of the city of Vicenza in the northeastern province of Veneto, Italy. During the Renaissance of the 16th century, the architect Andrea Palladio was active, and many of the classical styles of architecture brought beautiful landscapes to the city and its territory of Vicenza. The Palladian architecture has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1994 as “City of Vicenza and the Palladian Villas of the Veneto”.
