Geibikei Gorge is one of the three most beautiful gorges of Japan. It is 2km long gorge along the Satetsu river in Iwate prefecture. In geibikei gorge you can ride on a traditional flat bottomed boat. It is made of cedar trees. This is very unique. In Japan this is the only place where without any motor , the boat man use the bamboo pole to navigate the boat. So it’s very adventurous.
