Bishamondo Temple is located in Sanke District, Kyoto City. It was first built in 703 AD and was later destroyed by the war. The current building was built in 1665. In autumn, the maple leaves here are very famous. This video was recorded in early November, and the maple leaf is not yet completely red.

Where are you from? Are you Japanese? Where do you live now?
– I am Chinese, I live in Shiga with my Japanese wife.

When did you come to Japan?
– I came to Japan in 2015.

Why did you move to Japan?
– I like the scenery, atmosphere, and culture of Japan very much, so after graduating from university, I came to Japan to study master’s degree.

How did you get a visa in Japan?
– At first, I got a student visa, now i”m on a business visa.

Do you work in Japan?
– Yes, I’m a photographer. Currently, I take portraits in Japan, mainly in kimonos or wedding dresses. I have photographed around 2,000 guests so far. But because of the epidemic, work has been reduced, so I started filming videos for a living.

What camera do you use?
– My live walks are recorded with my Iphone12, mounted on a DJI OM4 Gimbal. 4K videos are mostly shot with an iPhone 12 or sony A7c. But when I shoot portraits, I use Nikon D850 and D750, with 85 1.4 and 24-70 2.8 lenses.

How many languages do you speak?
– Chinese, Japanese, and a bit of English. I’m learning English now, and I hope that one day I can introduce Japanese culture and the Japanese landscape to everyone in English.
