Towada is a small, beautiful northern city Japan’s Aomori Prefecture, about three and a half hours from Tokyo. A destination where visitors can enjoy the four seasons of Japan.
Lake Towada, the Oirase Gorge, and the Hakkoda Mountains are just a short distance from Towada. You’ll also have the chance to indulge in one of the region’s most popular outdoor activities: hot spring bathing.
The city itself is charming as well. The Towada Art Center is located in downtown Towada. Sculptures and works of art by well-known artists can be found throughout the area.
