Walking tour of sunny Lisbon’s (Portugal) Parque das Nações (‘Nations Park’), with detailed historical information and context. Parque das Nações was the site of the ’98 World Expo, and today is a modern neighborhood full of interesting contemporary architecture and urban art. I walk by the Lisbon Oceanarium, Europe’s largest indoor aquarium, the Vasco da Gama Bridge, the marina, Myriad Hotel, Vasco da Gama Tower and walk along the Tagus River, following the cable cars.
Lisbon (or Lisboa, in Portuguese) is one of the oldest cities in western Europe and known for its centuries-old neighborhoods, plazas and buildings, but its modern side is worth a visit too!
This walk was filmed in 4K resolution, first-person point of view with captions (no talking), for a more immersive experience!
