Oranda-zaka, is a cobblestone slope and stone steps created during the former settlement of Higashiyamate, Nagasaki City, Nagasaki Prefecture. One of the elements that make up the Important Preservation District for Traditional Buildings in Higashiyamate, Nagasaki City.

The name of Oranda-zaka used to be a general term for slopes with cobblestones of former settlements such as Oura, Higashiyamate, and Minamiyamate, but now, according to the description on the official tourist website of Nagasaki City, “Jokoin-mae” It is a general term for the three slopes of “Nozaka”, “Kwassuizaka”, and “Kwassui Gakuin Shimozaka”.

A group of 15 Western-style buildings that convey an exotic atmosphere are lined up along the road, and Nagasaki Port is in a location blessed with a panoramic view below. In addition to being a flow line connecting tourist destinations in Nagasaki, it is also popular as a living road that is indispensable for local residents living on high ground. The scenery of Hollander Slope, where it rains lightly and the cobblestones are moist, is said to have a taste and is very popular.

オランダ坂は、長崎県長崎市東山手の旧居留地時代につくられた石畳の坂道・石段。 長崎市東山手重要伝統的建造物群保存地区を構成する要素の一つ。

オランダ坂の名称は、かつては大浦や東山手、南山手といった旧居留地の石畳が敷かれた坂道の総称であったが、現在は長崎市の公式観光サイトの記述によれば「誠孝院前の坂」、「活水坂」、「活水学院下の坂」の三つの坂の総称としている。

沿道には異国情緒を伝える15棟の洋館群が建ち並び、眼下に長崎港を臨景観に恵まれたロケーションにある。長崎の観光地を結ぶ動線であるほか、高台に住む地域住人に欠くことのできない生活道路として親しまれている。 小雨が降って石畳がしっとり濡れたオランダ坂の情景は、風情があるといわれ人気も高い。
