When I heard about Fuji Q, a theme park at the surrounds of Mt Fuji and Lake Kawaguchiko restarting their Fireworks plans for New Years Day, you best believe that my friends and I definitely booked another trip to see it.
It’s been a while since I’ve recorded a video in a VLOG format but thank you so much for your continued patronage and support. Happy new year from Japan.
Japan and fireworks especially in the New Years Day is really rare and is not celebrated with a big bang like what are familiar with in the West. Instead of fireworks, families gather and watch TV and then countdown together.
So after a days car ride around Asama Shrine and Lake Saiko and the Ice Caves, we were looking forward to the fireworks and we were kind of disappointed. You’ll see why!
However, the views of Mt Fuji and to bicycle around Lake Kawaguchiko is a definite must!

REMEMBER:
If you’d like to buy us a round of coffee or matcha, we humbly appreciate it.
Waking up early to staying up late to edit can take it’s toll so your generous coffee will go to the presenter(s) on the video
