Hey there! Please turn on captions to see descriptions about what’s going on during the video. 🙂
So this is from wayy back in July this year, when I visited a Japanese mid-summer festival in Kōchi Prefecture, one called Ekin Festival (絵金祭り) in fact. I really wanted to film the exhibitions inside the gallery which included Ekin (the artist)’s main works (real), but that was prohibited. I did get to film the public exhibitions though, which were found on the streets and in front of stores and walls dimly lit with a candle – very beautiful and breathtaking art pieces (replicas tho haha). I hope you guys also have the opportunity to visit this festival one day, it’s a lovely way to spend your weekend/afternoon/night. Festival details found here:
Thank you to Haruka and Hina for hanging out with me and showing me around – they were also in my other videos so you may remember them 🙂
