Join me this evening for a beautiful snowy winter night walk along Kaimono Koen in the northern city of Asahikawa in Hokkaido. Heiwa-dori Kaimono Koen is Japan’s first permanent pedestrian-only street, and it is full of restaurants, karaoke bars, and shops. From December, it is lit by beautiful winter illuminations. It’s a bitterly cold and snowy evening, with temperatures down to minus 15, but the falling snow makes this an amazing spectacle as I walk through the snow towards Asahikawa Station. I hope you enjoy the ASMR ambient noise on this fascinating Japanese virtual walk!
