Hanamachi is the name given to an area where geisha shops are clustered.
Even today, the alleyways unique to Hanamachi remain in Kagurazaka.
But unfortunately, the geisha are no longer there.
The charm of Kagurazaka is its back streets.
If you take a step away from the main street, you will find a quiet alleyway and many restaurants and ryotei (Japanese-style restaurants) in the residential area.
