In this video we will be going to three beautiful spots in Tokyo:
0:50
1. Meiji Jingu Gaien – one of the best spots for Autumn Foliage in Tokyo

2. Yebisu Garden Place – known as Meteor Garden Japan’s Hana Yori Dango’s Holy Land

3. MIDTOWN WINTER LIGHTS in Roppongi for their Winter Illumination.
Most tourists come to Tokyo in Spring for the world famous cherry blossom viewing known as the “hanami”, but only a few are aware that autumn can be equally lovely. Autumn brings beautiful foliage throughout the country, including Tokyo, and the best time for seeing the foliage is between late November and the beginning of December. One of the most common symbols of autumn anywhere in the world is the changing colour of the leaves. This phenomenon is known as “koyo” or “momiji” in Japanese. Japanese go crazy for koyo so why not join them?
“Hibakujumoku” is a Japanese term for a tree that survived the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945.
Therefore the Ginkgo is regarded as the ‘bearer of hope’.

Our last spot in this vlog is in Roppongi, the MIDTOWN WINTER LIGHTS in Tokyo Midtown.
If you come on Christmas time, like we did, the Midtown Garden also hosts the ‘Present no Naru Ki,’ a gorgeous Christmas tree decorated by hanging presents, and on Christmas Day, the presents will turn red.
Midtown Ice Rink in Roppongi, one of the largest outdoor ice rinks in Tokyo has come back again this year! This year marks the 11th year of this event.
We ended the day at Starbucks, trying the Starbucks Japan’s classic winter beverage, Winter White Chocolate Latte for me and Gingerbread Latte & Macadamia Toffee Latte for my friends.
That’s all for this vlog, thank you for watching!
