Tokyo’s cherry blossom picnics were forbidden in 2020? We travelled to Japan’s countryside to find one of the most beautiful cherry blossom spots to make you smile. In Tokyo, cherry blossom picnics aka sakura picnics / hanami (花見) were forbidden due to social distancing. We didn’t make a picnic but we took videos and photos for all those who need a little hope and sunshine in 2020. If you want to know more about real life in Japan of a foreigner girl living in Tokyo, come subscribe!

2020 info: We kept social distancing, sanitizing and wearing masks in public. We were not having a picnic and didn’t stay long at the spot. All safe. Take care of yourself and stay healthy guys!
