I’ve driven across the entire country, and the view of Mt Rainier is still the most grand. If you haven’t been outside the country, a mountain of this grand stature is impossible to find. Sure there are taller mountains out there, but this one is isolated, and stands way above everything around it. Your jaw will drop the first time you lay eyes on it. I chose to do day hikes around it, but if you’re willing, book a guide and try to top this beast.
