Kawasan Falls is a multi-layered waterfall system in the town of Badian, Cebu, located in Barangay Matutinao. It is, without a doubt, Badian’s most popular tourist destination.
Kawasan Falls, known for its stunning turquoise water, is located at the foot of the Mantalongon Mountain Range, about one kilometer from the Badian national road and at least four hours of walking from Dalaguete’s Osmena Peak. It’s cold, pure water pours from Kandayvic Spring over layers of waterfalls before reaching the Matutinao River and the Tanon Strait.
The waterfall system is made up of two main cascades, both of which include deep natural pools that are great for swimming. The first cascade is around 40 meters high, while the less crowded second level is about 20 meters high and can be reached in about 10 minutes of trekking.
