We checked out some of the best food Amman and were not disappointed! We really didn’t know what kind of food to expect in Jordan and were happy to discover it was all DELICIOUS! The hummus, falafel, mansaf, tabbouleh, and deep fried desserts were all incredible, but hands down the best dish we tried in Amman was knafeh (كنافة) from Habibah Sweets. We later learned that knafeh is a Palestinian dessert that can be found widely in the Middle East, so we will be scouring the entire region for more of this sweet, cheesy, goodness! We had a lot of fun trying to figure out how to order food at Hashem restaurant and topped off the day with a very strange encounter at Al Quds restaurant with a man who thought Mico might be his long lost son 🤷♀️
