After several weekends of disappointing weather, we finally see the sun!! In order to make the most of it, we headed to the Boso Peninsula in Southern Chiba to visit the coast, and go for a short hike.

We started with a beautiful walk up Nokogiriyama to see the famous Kannon and Daibutsu carvings, followed by a relaxing meander towards Cape Taibusa National Park where our hotel was for the night.
The next day, we spent some time at the around the Cape exploring and absorbing fantastic views from the observation tower and Cape Myojin.

All in all, a fantastic weekend, and this trip once again reminded us of our love for Chiba as an underestimated travel destination!
