Wondering where to stay in Kawaguchiko? Join us as we take you to a Japanese home tour, cottage style! We stayed in this cozy Japanese home in Kawaguchiko and it has the best view of Mt. Fuji!

Check out our video to see how a Japanese home/ cottage looks inside and enjoy the view from both inside and outside the cottage!

We stayed in Villa Ururun Kawaguchiko and was rated 9.7/10 by booking.com. I definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a quiet and relaxing place that’s not too far from Lake Kawaguchiko. You get the best of both worlds! You can go to Lake Kawaguchiko area for more activities and come back here to relax and enjoy your undisturbed view of Mt. Fuji while barbecuing.

There are so many sights to see near this area such as Kawaguchi Asama Shrine, Tenku no torii (called the torii in the sky), Oishi Park, Lake Kawaguchiko, and Kawaguchiko Music Forest Museum, to name a few. Fujiyoshida is also a fun place to go to and is only a 16 min drive away or a few train hops away.

Hope you enjoyed our Japanese home tour. If you have any questions or suggestions, just drop it on the comments below. Much love!
