We’ve found the best hotel with the best view of Mount Fuji at Lake Kawaguchi (Kawaguchiko)!
Not only does this hotel have a breathtaking view of Mt Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, it also has OUTDOOR private BATH, and serves amazing AMAZING Japanese FOODS! Couldn’t ask for more 🙂
We took a short trip to Lake Kawaguchi (or Kawaguchiko) in Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan.
From Shinjuku station in Tokyo, we took the train and arrived at Kawaguchiko station in only 2 hours.
The hotel is called Ubuya. It’s actually a Ryokan, which means Japanese-style hotel.
It’s located in a quiet neighborhood by the lake, yet very close to Kawaguchiko station.
Ubuya offers free shuttle bus to + from the train station, but you can also take a taxi for less than 1,000 yen. Also, there’s a bus stop literally right in front of the hotel. We found it super convenient to explore the town by bus!
This Ubuya hotel was amazing!
Frankly speaking, this might be the best hotel / Japanese ryokan we’ve ever experienced.

and only few minutes from Kawaguchiko train station!! :O
Seriously, this hotel checked all my boxes! and more! since ping pong table is not one of my requirements 🙂
