Iceland Walking Tour – Skógafoss in Summer [4K]

Skógafoss waterfall in Iceland. Following the river Skógaá to see the waterfall cascading down the mountain, then up the stairs for a top view over the waterfall.

Information about the tour:
00:00 – Skógaá river.
04:30 – Skógafoss. A 60m drop. It is considered to be one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Iceland. Following the river Skógá onwards there are plenty more waterfalls to see. An old tale tells of a man called Þrasi who hid a chest of gold inside a cave behind the waterfall and that when the sun shines on the waterfall you might notice the sparkle of gold.
05:21 – Sheep grazing.
08:40 – Taking the stairs up for a top view of Skógafoss.
16:51 – Hestvaðsfoss waterfall.
