Uji is on the outskirts of Kyoto Japan, this beautiful little city has many bridges along the river that cuts Uji in two, and is perfect for a walk outside. Uji famous for matcha green tea and beautiful temples, a quick side trip from Kyoto City makes Uji a must see to travelers coming to Japan.
