Japan Trip: Peace Osaka convey horrors of war to younger generations, Osaka No.039
Peace Osaka, also known as Osaka International Peace Center, is a museum that introduces the horrors of World War II.
The permanent exhibition room on the first floor displays photographs and other documents concerning the war, focusing on the horror and pain caused by Japan’s aggressions in China, Korea and South East Asia. It also displays the collection of photos and documents about the US invasion of Okinawa and the atomic bombings.
The second floor is occupied by the exhibitions related to Osaka air raids that destroyed large part of the city and killed many people towards the end of WW II.
