Part 1 of our trip:

This was part 2 of our Kyoto trip, and it features Kiyomizu-dera Temple and Fushimi Inari Shrine, Kyoto’s 2 most popular attractions! Between part 1 and 2 we managed to hit up almost all of Kyoto’s top attractions which were, in order of visit, Arashiyama, Nijo Castle, Nishiki Market, Kiyomizu-dera, and Fushimi Inari!
We really wanted to squeeze in Ginkaku-ji as well but we were short on time…
Instead, we ended our journey back in Arashiyama where we were so lucky to be able to catch Ukai (cormorant fishing) at night, before hopping on the bus back to Tokyo.
Kyoto’s always a good time and even though it got pretty unbearable at times because of the summer heat, we still had a blast.
