Yokohama, Japan is a city I’m glad to call home for the past 15 years or so.

Yokohama is a large city but the heart of it, Yokohama Station, is only about 30 minutes from what I consider the heart of Tokyo, Shibuya, so it’s a fantastic city as far as location goes as you can enjoy a much more laid back atmosphere of Yokohama to call home, yet be close to the heart of Tokyo.

The area around and including the main Yokohama Station has gone through some major changes, especially between 2018-2020, but the charm that drew me here is still here and it’s only getting better.

This is a walking tour of a popular main road that is the heart of Yokohama, which is closest to the station. It is full of retail stores and of course, restaurants and bars. The road leads from the station and is the main road.

This is during the day but at night it is a different world. Stay tuned to see my upcoming video of that.

I will do some videos of a walk around in my favorite areas of Yokohama and Tokyo, since I think both cities are amazing, and worth having videos to save for my future self. My only regret not starting sooner.
