TIME SLIP , back to Showa Perieod / JAPAN☺️
How many times have you visited Japan before ?
First time ? Or many times?
Maybe you should see the real and old times of Japan ? Not like big cities but super local with traditional culture , yes , it is here Karatsu city 🇯🇵
Highlight:
• Yobuko Morning Market :
Yobuko fish market is one of the three biggest morning markets in Japan. It is located in Karatsu, in the Saga-prefecture of Kyushu. The market first opened during the Taisho period sometime between 1912-1926. The market sells mainly fresh seafood but you can also find locally grown vegetables and small souvenirs.
The market is open daily from 07:30-12:00 and it is famous for its fresh seafood, especially its squid. The street vendors are local people who catch their fish and squid on their own, as well as dry them and prepare them by hand.
•Hadomisaki :
Lovers’ sanctuary Cape.
The main attractions of Cape Hado Is the heart-shaped monument and the sunset.
It is frequented by young couples who take
photos in front of the heart monument, and also by families who hang out at the wide, beautiful
grasslands by the sea.
Not merely offering picturesque scenery, the Hadomisaki proximity is a resort area with an abundance of fun activities such as hiking, fishing, camping and swimming in the sea. There are also several facilities such as tennis courts and exercise equipment. There are no corners cut when it comes to having fun.
The Hadomisaki delicacy of cooked sazae is not to be forgotten. The women of Hadomisaki prepare the sazae with familiarity and efficiency, cooking it to produce a succulent flavor.
•Aquarium restaurant *Manbo*
The restaurant “Manbo” is the first restaurant in Japan that is floating on the sea.
And can enjoy the dish under the sea also.
The seafood dish such as “squid” from the natural preserve is very fresh. The local specialty “Squid Shao-mai” is outstanding.
We serve the best dish but also the greatest memory at the perfect location.
•Karatsu shrine
Founded AD 755, this scenic shrine sits near the centre of town and is fronted by an unusual white torii (gate).
