Mount Tempozan is commonly recognized as Japan’s lowest mountain. The mountain’s “peak” is 4.53 meters above sea level, and there is a the Ferris wheel located nearby. Much of the mountain’s surface has been developed into a small park with benches, walkways and green space.
There is a Tempozan Harbor Village in Tempozan area. The Chuo Subway Line conveniently connects Tempozan Harbor Village with central Osaka in less than 20 minutes. The district has pleasant shopping and entertainment facilities. Within walking distance is Tempozan Marketplace, a medium sized mall around which the Ferris wheel and also aquarium are located.
