Sanbongi Sunflower Hill is a summer flower spot where about 420,000 sunflowers bloom on a 6-hectare site that boasts the second largest site area in Japan after Hokuryu Sunflower Village in Hokuryu Town, Hokkaido.
In the vast sunflower field, sunflower flowers that exceed the height of a person are in full bloom, and you can stroll along the promenade on the premises while gazing at the scenery of the flowers that fills your field of view.
When it is in full bloom, the “Sunflower Festival” is held, and souvenirs and special products from the Osaki area are also sold.
夏に42万本の向日葵が咲き乱れる、宮城県大崎市の三本木ひまわりの丘の映像です。
三本木ひまわりの丘は、北海道北竜町にある北竜町ひまわりの里に続いて日本で2番目の敷地面積を誇る6ヘクタールの敷地内に、約42万本の向日葵が咲く夏の花の名所です。
広大な向日葵畑には人の背丈を超えるほどの向日葵の花が咲き乱れ、敷地内に設けられた遊歩道を歩きながら視界いっぱいに埋め尽くすほどの花の風景を眺めながら散策できます。
８月上旬から中旬に花の見頃を迎えた時期には「ひまわりまつり」を開催し、お土産品や大崎地区の特産品などの販売も行われます。
