[Part 2] Fun Travel Food FTWMM Family Travel Trip to Tokyo & Kyoto Japan:
We started the evening with a quick wash-up in Kawasaki Hotel Cooju (8km from Haneda Airport) and rushed straight to queue for the infamous (now demolished) Tsukiji Fish Market Tour at 04:30AM! After waiting on solid cement flooring for 2-hours, the tour was truly worth it & memorable. Watching big 200~300kg of tuna being auctioned off to wholesale buyers, and seeing how they determine fattiness & quality. For breakfast, we had fresh sushi from one of the restaurants located beside Tsukiji Fish Market – expensive but truly satisfying! After resting for while, we headed to Honolu Ebisu, a halal certified ramen place, tucked at the corner in Shibuya, Tokyo Prefecture for lunch – it even comes with a single person surau (with prayer garments for the ladies!). The spicy ramens were hot, delicious and broth – to die for! Then, it was off to Disney Sea (find out why we decided on Disney Sea and not Disneyland?) for the afternoon. Though they were open till 10PM, the incoming typhoon kept us indoors by 7PM. We didn’t manage to ride on any rides cause it was summer and the school holidays! What a bummer! We finally retreated to our overnight stay 600 meters away from Shibuya Crossing in preparation for the next day! Saron or now known as TW62 Luxurious, which comes with 2 rooms, for 5 adults.
Catch us next episode when we spend our breakfast at a truly French cafe, experience Shibuya Crossing and celebrate Maisarah and Mummy Zaini’s surprise birthday with Lee Mee Keng, our buddy from MMU, which we haven’t seen for 10 years?! It was wagyu beef in a halal Korean restaurant?!
