Sakurajima active volcano at Kagoshima

Sakurajima island has an active volcano only 3 km from Kagoshima. You can take the ferry there for only 160 Yen or $2 AUD. A bus ticket around the island is 500 Yen for the day and you can get on & off as you wish.
