V-Strom 650 on the Pont Du Var – D316 – Daluis August 2021

This is a raw cut of videos I shot on my way up the D316 in August 2021. You can reach this little road when you cross the Pont Du Var near Daluis. No music, just riding.

I had no previous experience on these kinds of mountainous gravel roads before I took this vacation. I live in the flattest part of Europe and all the roads in my area are paved to the highest standard.

The bike is a 2018 V-Strom 650 XT. The tires on my bike are Mitas E07plus, tire pressure as advised by Mitas for larger bikes. The bike has Heed crash bars and a Heed bash plate. The bike is stock otherwise and loaded with my camping gear.

Cameras used: Insta360OneR, Akaso V50proSE. I didn’t let the cameras run all the time due to limited storage and batteries.
