Captain Avtar Singh, a Master Mariner with Merchant Navy today, completed his schooling from the Kendriya Vidyalayas – Vishakhapatnam, Goa and Mumbai respectively. He did his Senior Secondary from KC College, Mumbai followed by 2nd Mate, Chief Mate and Masters from LBS College, Mumbai in 2003.

Our Failures –
We are proud of the failures as learnt a lot from them. Started Akita Electronics in the name of our elder daughter in association and partnership with my cousin in 2002 which saw closure in 2007 due to familial exigencies.
Started another two ventures in real estate and consulting respectively with the names 71property.com and 71bestjobs.com in 2011 which also tanked and closed down in 2017.
Another company ChotaRaja.com was initiated and shut in the same period. These companies were shut to focus on Mariners Forex started in the year 2020.

Mariners Forex and Atech Academy doing great in their own spheres with more than 100% growth year on year. The failures taught us to stay patient and channelize our creative energies into something new and productive. We learnt that how a better team and content can improve the sales numbers with right mix of marketing and promotion.
