【強烈】 蔵王温泉　強酸性の湯 「上湯＆川原湯」/【STRONG! ] Zao Hot Spring Resort, a strongly acidic hot spring in Japan

山形県の蔵王温泉は、群馬県の万座温泉と並ぶ「強酸性」の温泉。

酸性度（アルカリ度））はph値で表され、酸性度が強いものから順に以下のようになっていますが、蔵王温泉のph値は、なんと1.6だそうです。
・強酸性：ph値 2.9以下
・弱酸性：ph値 3.0〜5.9未満
・中　性：ph値 6.0〜7.5未満
・弱アルカリ性：ph値 7.5〜 8.5未満
・アルカリ性 ：ph値 8.0〜10.0未満
・強アルカリ性：ph値 10.0～

秋田県の有名な「玉川温泉」はph1.2らしいので、さすがに敵いませんが、「草津温泉」はph2.05なのでこれよりは酸性度が高いことになります。

効能としては、皮膚病、心臓、便秘、糖尿にも効果ありとのこと。

蔵王温泉は歴史も古く、開湯はなんと西暦110年ということで、1900年以上の歴史があります。凄いですねえ。

ここ蔵王温泉には３カ所の共同浴場「上湯」「下湯」「川原湯」がありますが、200円／日で3カ所全てに入浴できます。全て源泉掛け流しで大変風情のある浴場ですので、とてもお得です。個人的には「川原湯」が一番良かったように感じましたが、皆さんはどうでしょうか。

Zao Onsen in Yamagata Prefecture is a “strongly acidic” hot spring along with Manza Onsen in Gunma Prefecture.

Acidity (alkalinity)) is expressed by the pH value, and it is as follows in order from the one with the strongest acidity, but it seems that the ph value of Zao Onsen is 1.6.
・ Strong acidity: pH value 2.9 or less
・ Weakly acidic: pH value 3.0 to less than 5.9
・ Neutral: pH value 6.0 to less than 7.5
・ Weakly alkaline: pH value 7.5 to less than 8.5
・ Alkaline: pH value less than 80 to 10.0
・ Strong alkalinity: pH value 10.0 ~

The famous “Tamagawa Onsen” in Akita Prefecture seems to have a pH of 1.2, so it is not as good as it should be, but since “Kusatsu Onsen” has a pH of 2.05, it has a higher acidity than this.

As an effect, it is said to be effective for skin diseases, heart, constipation, and diabetes.

Zao Onsen has a long history, and the opening of the hot spring is 110 AD, so it has a history of more than 1900 years. It’s amazing.

There are 3 communal baths “Kamiyu”, “Shimoyu” and “Kawarayu” in Zao Onsen, but you can take a bath in all 3 places for 200 yen / day. It’s a very profitable bathhouse because it’s all flowing from the source and has a very tasteful atmosphere. Personally, I felt that “Kawarayu” was the best, but what about everyone?
It’s a very nice hot spring, so please visit it once.
