The city of Iki is found on a remote island in Nagasaki Prefecture surrounded by the beautiful open sea. Home to over 150 shrines, this “Island of History” is known for its many historic ruins and heritage sites scattered throughout the island as well as its beautiful clear blue sea. The island is likewise home to plentiful seafood and a variety of other delicious fresh local foods. And what’s more, the entire island is taking proactive measures to ensure that it is a safe and reassuring place to come visit. In today’s video we will be traveling with Sam to the delightful city of Iki to show you how you can enjoy everything the island has to offer while adjusting to what is often referred to these days as the “new normal”.
