Backpacking through Japan: Hot days and cool waters. Once back in Tsuruga, we started making our way down towards Kyoto beside Lake Biwa. Here we spent some time playing in the water in order to cool down and to avoid walking in the brutal sun. We tried the Biwa fruits at the shores of Lake Biwa, found a tori gate in the water and finally set up camp in the dark. 😀
