Jinba Waterfall is a waterfall that spans the Gotomeki River that flows through the northern part of Fujinomiya City, Shizuoka Prefecture Japan.
The water that springs from the lava gap of Mt. Fuji and the water that flows from the upstream form a waterfall with a head of 5 meters and a width of 20 meters.
When Minamoto no Yoritomo, who became a shogun in 1192, conducted the current military exercise, “Fuji no Makigari,” in 1193, he was laying a camp near the waterfall.
He named this waterfall “Jinba Waterfall” when he did it.
This waterfall is beautiful and clean water and nature woven landscape of the foot of Fuji, the water gushing from here it becomes possible drinking of what is required of the boil.
陣馬の滝(じんばのたき)は静岡県富士宮市北部を流れる五斗目木川にかかる滝で、富士山の溶岩のすき間から湧き出す水と上流から流れる水が、落差5メートル、幅20メートルの滝となって流れ落ちています。
１１９２年に征夷大将軍となった源頼朝が１１９３年に現在の軍事演習に当たる「富士の巻狩り」を行った際に、滝の近くに一夜の陣を敷いたことから、この滝を「陣馬の滝」と呼ぶようになりました。
この滝は富士山麓の清らかな水と自然が織りなす風景が美しく、ここから湧き出る水は煮沸消毒の必要はあるものの飲用も可能になっております。
