The Temiya Line is a railway line (freight line) operated by the Japanese National Railways that connects Temiya Station from Minami-Otaru Station in Otaru City, Hokkaido. It was part of the first railway opening section in Hokkaido and was crowded with coal and marine products, but it was abolished on November 5, 1985 (Showa 60).
It opened on November 28, 1880 (Meiji 13) as part of the Horonai Railway, the first railway in Hokkaido.
