This time, I walked around the shopping street of Zenibako, Otaru. Zenibako has long been a town visited by the people of Sapporo for swimming. It is especially popular with students because you can walk to the beach from Zenibako Station. The other side of the street in front of the station is the sea. There are many shops for bathers on this street. Some are old-fashioned and some are new and renovated. The atmosphere of the 1970s still remains. This town is old but constantly evolving. I want this atmosphere to remain forever.

今回は、小樽市銭函の商店街を歩いてみました。銭函は昔から札幌市民の海水浴場として親しまれてきました。駅から歩いていけるため、車のない学生さん達には今もなお人気の海水浴場です。銭函駅前の通りの向こうはすぐ海です。昔ながらのお店もあれば、リノベした新しいお店もあり、それでも昔ながらの雰囲気はそのままです。古いながらも常に進化しています。この雰囲気がいつまでも残って欲しいものです。
