二つの糖を持つロマネスク風様式赤レンガ造りの教会堂は1908年に本田保神父により計画され、諸外国、特にドイツからの寄付、信徒たちの勤労奉仕により、1913年（大正2）に完成した。
2015年（平成27年）国重要文化財に指定
