Hiking Kyoto’s 100 Mountains 京都百名山.
Arashiyama’s Mount Ogura is a hell hole to climb in the summer heat but thankfully, after a steep descent off it’s back side the Kiyotaki River and a wonderful gorge hike awaits. In fact you don’t even have to climb the mountain to access the river, just catch a Kiyotaki bound bus from Arashiyama.
