Tulum travel vlog 2021! This trip was SO MUCH FUN! Unfortunately, we did arrive at a time where Tulum’s rainy season had begun, but that didn’t stop us from making the most of our trip and having the best time together! I got so many questions on IG about our trip, so I am going to be answering a bunch here and over on my blogpost too. If you have a question I didn’t get around to answering, please leave me a comment down below❤️

TULUM Q’s:
Q: Where did we stay?
A: Airbnb: Liana Tulum
Resort: Papaya Playa Project
To be honest, the Airbnb was beautiful… but it was so far from the beach as it was deep in the Tulum town. I would have preferred to experience the airbnb for a shorter amount of time and then the rest of our vacay be spent on the beach. Papaya Playa Project was absolutely amazing and I will be going back there for sure!
Q: How much did the trip cost?
A: Not including our hotel stays, I brought $500USD cash with me and ended up spending all of that to the last penny. I think it all depends on what you want your Tulum experience to be. Flights were $700 roundtrip.
Q: Best restaurants, beach clubs, hotels?
A: Gitano, Casa Malca (Pablo Escobars mansion), Azulik, Bagatelle, Matcha Mama, Coco Tulum, Papaya Playa (has an awesome DJ/Party on saturdays)
Q: Did I feel safe?
A: On Tulum beach at Papaya Playa Project I felt 100% safe. In town at our airbnb, ehh.. me personally, I probably wouldn’t stay there again or in town again. There are a lot of people that love stay in town – it definitely is cheaper. But I personally loved staying on the beach so much more.
Q: How did you get to Tulum?
A: So the flight brought us into the Cancun airport, and we worked out a car service with our Airbnb to pick us up and bring us directly to the airbnb. If you stay at a hotel on the beach, you should definitely call and ask if they can provide a pickup service from the airport to where you are staying
Q: Things I wish I knew before going?
A: When the rainy season occurs.. lol (June – October). You will still get sunny days during these months don’t get me wrong, this is just considered the rainy season! And honestly, a rainy Tulum was still beautiful
Any other questions I got, I will answer more in depth in my blogpost!
