高住神社（豊前坊）福岡県添田町

高住（たかすみ）神社は、豊前豊後の開拓神である豊日別命（とよひわけのみこと）を祀る神社です。古くから人々の病苦を救い、農業や牛馬安全の神として崇められてきました。境内の石鳥居は元禄10（1697）年、青銅の神牛は天保9（1838）年に五穀豊穣と牛馬安全を祈願して奉納されたものです

青銅の神牛
天保9年（1839）五穀豊穣、牛馬・家内安全を祈願して、田川郡の大庄屋6人が建てたものです。
人畜の病める部分と振替えてもらうよう其の部分をなでる風習あります。

It was built by six Oshoya in Tagawa-gun in 1839 to pray for a good harvest of five grains and the safety of cows and horses and their families.
There is a custom of stroking that part so that it can be transferred to the sick part of humans and animals.
社殿の後方は天狗 岩。
拝殿の奥は天狗 岩の窟となっており、そこが本殿なっています。

The back of the hall of worship is a cave of Tengu rock, which is the main hall.
社殿の向かって右手に豊前坊龍神が鎮座し、御神水を戴いただくことができます。
Buzenbo Ryujin is enshrined on the right side of the shrine, and you can receive the sacred water.
