Aso Shrine, Monzencho Shopping Street, and Yamanami Highway overlooking the town of Aso. Aso Shrine is the head office of 500 Aso Shrines nationwide. The hall of worship and the tower gate were completely destroyed by the Kumamoto earthquake in April 2016. Currently, restoration work is underway with the aim of completing it in 2023. In the Ichinomiya shopping district in Toriimaecho, there are many fun shops such as unique shops and restaurants. There is also abundant spring water, which is said to be the water of immortality and longevity. If you bring a container, you can freely draw it and take it home.
