Kuriyama Town is a town with a population of about 10,000, located about 40 minutes by car from Sapporo and New Chitose Airport. Although not shown in this video, it is famous as the town where the sake brewery “Kobayashi Sake Brewery” is located. In addition, since there is a forest in Kuriyama Town where the Japanese emperor butterfly inhabits, there are signs designed with insects in the shopping street. This shopping street used to be crowded with many shops, but now it has decreased. The streets are in good condition, but you can’t feel the bustle of the old days. There are still old buildings on the street different from this one, and you can feel nostalgia.

今回は、栗山町の駅前にある商店街を歩いてみました。栗山町は札幌や新千歳空港から車で約40分の所にある、人口約1万人の町です。今回の動画には映っていませんが、日本酒の蔵「小林酒造」のある町として有名です。また、栗山町には国蝶オオムラサキが生息する森があることから、昆虫をデザインした看板などが商店街にあります。この商店街は昔はたくさんのお店が密集していたようですが、現在は減ってしまいました。通りは綺麗に整備されましたが、昔の賑わいを感じることはできません。この通りとは違う通りにはまだ古い建物が残っており、郷愁を感じることができます。
