This time I walked around the shopping street in Tsukigata Town. Tsukigata Town is located 45km northeast of Sapporo. This town is known as the first prison town in Hokkaido. The current prison is a little far from the town. The store is located along Route 275. The building is old and still retains the atmosphere of the 1950s. Unfortunately, when I was shooting this video, it was just after the old store was destroyed. There is a popular restaurant, so it’s a good idea to enjoy lunch after learning history at the museum.

今回は月形町の商店街を歩きました。 月形町は札幌の北東45kmに位置しています。 この町は北海道で最初に刑務所が造られた町として知られていますが、 現在の刑務所は町から少し離れています。 店は国道275号線沿いにあります。建物は古く、1950年代の雰囲気を今も残しています。 残念ながら、この動画を撮影していたときは、古い店が壊された直後でした。 人気のレストランがあるので、月形樺戸博物館で歴史を学んだ後はランチを楽しむのもいいでしょう。
