Tottori Prefecture is composed of four cities and 15 towns, many of which lie in the foothills of its iconic mountains. Of these, Yonago City is the second largest, next only to its capital Tottori City.

We have already tackled Tottori City and the eastern half of the prefecture in our previous videos. This time around, we’re heading west! This travel guide focuses on Western Tottori, spanning Yonago City, Sakaiminato, and Daisen. And just like Tottori City, these enjoy a relatively low cost of living and low cost of travel, especially compared to major cities in #Japan like Tokyo or even Osaka.

This video was shot before the COVID-19 pandemic. Now may not be a good time to travel but it’s always a great time to plan a trip! But note that costs, hours and availability might have changed due to the pandemic, so contact the respective establishment directly for more updated info.
