Today is Tanabata (Star Festival) Day in Japan ⛩️🌌🎋
The Torii Gate at the front of Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine in Kyoto Prefecture is simply breathtaking. It is doubly so when accompanied by the Milky Way, especially tonight. Tanabata Day celebrates a story about a couple, represented by stars, who can finally meet each other from opposite sides of the Milky Way only on this day; a sincerely heavenly love story.
