「小野谷」地区は、馬見山(978m)のふもとに位置し、遠賀川源流に程近く、澄んだ水が流れる小野谷川があり、青く田畑の広がる美しく小さな山里です。
The “Onodani” district of Kama City is located at the foot of Mt. Umami (978m), close to the headwaters of the Onga River, and has the Onodani River where clear water flows.

2007年に地域住民でつくる「小野谷あじさい愛好会」を発足し、市道沿いやあぜ道にアジサイを植栽。 毎年、数を増やし、現在約４０００本となりました。
In 2007, the “Onoya Hydrangea Lovers Association” was established by local residents and planted hydrangeas along city roads and hydrangeas. The number has increased every year, and now it is about 4000.

ゆくゆくは一万本の色とりどりのアジサイが
咲き誇る集落にしようと定期的に草刈りなどの活動をし、
