This time, I walked around the shopping street in Urausu Town. Urausu Town is located 35km northeast of Sapporo. It is a small town with a population of about 1800. However, the Tsurunuma area of this town is the largest vineyard in Japan. For this reason, “Urausu Wine” is a specialty of this town. I think a stone storehouse with the sign “Urausu Wine” is the symbol of this shopping street.

今回は、浦臼町の商店街を歩きました。札幌から北東35kmのところに浦臼町はあります。人口約1800人の小さな町です。ですが、この町の鶴沼地区は、日本で一番広い葡萄畑です。このため「浦臼ワイン」がこの町の特産品になっています。「浦臼ワイン」と書かれた看板がある石でできた蔵のお店がこの商店街のシンボルだと私は思っています。
