My name is CF. Today we will have a walking tour in Yishun, which is located in the North Region of Singapore 🇸🇬. We will start the walk from Yishun station and have a tour inside Northpoint City which is a shopping mall, then we will explore Yishun Town Centre in the Yishun Central neighborhood. This walk was filmed just one day before Singapore entered the Phase 2 (Heightened Alert) from Sunday, 16 May 2021 through to Sunday, 13 June 2021.

Yishun, formerly known as Nee Soon, is a residential town located in the northeastern corner of the North Region of Singapore, bordering Simpang and Sembawang to the north, Mandai to the west, the Central Water Catchment to its southwest, Ang Mo Kio to its south, as well as Seletar and Sengkang to its east.

The name Yishun (traditional Chinese: 義順; simplified Chinese: 义顺) is a Mandarin romanisation of Lim Nee Soon (Chinese: 林義順), a prominent industrialist who made his fortune from the rubber and pineapple plantations he had in the area.

Yishun planning area is divided into sub-zones namely Khatib, Lower Seletar, Nee Soon, North Land, Springleaf, Yishun Central, Yishun East, Yishun South and Yishun West. Springleaf and Nee Soon subzones are private housing estates in Yishun.

Northpoint City (formerly known as Northpoint Shopping Centre) is a suburban shopping mall in Yishun, Singapore. The mall houses the North Park Residences condominium, Nee Soon Central Community Club, Yishun Public Library and Yishun Bus Interchange. It was first built in 1992, and was renovated and expanded in 2010. It underwent a second renovation and expansion in 2017. It is currently the largest shopping mall in northern Singapore. The centre has a combined net lettable area of 500,000 sq ft (46,000 m2) and has more than 400 tenants.
