Iceland Walking Tour – Grafarvogur [4K]

Grafarvogur in Iceland is among the largest residential districts of Reykjavík. It is a relatively new neighbourhood, major construction began in the late 1980s and continued well into the 1990s. In this walking tour we explore the harbour district, church of Grafarvogur, Grafarvogur inlet and more.

00:10 – Looking over Grafarvogur inlet. Its name is derived from a now gone farm called Gröf (Grave). Therefore Grafarvogur literally means Grave inlet.
05:45 – Gullinbrú (Golden bridge).
13:05 – Grafarvogskirkja (Church of Grafarvogur).
